Guy was born and raised in England, where his studies in Theatre, Photography and Film nurtured a passion for the craft of Cinematography.
He moved to Los Angeles to study Cinematography at the American Film Institute Conservatory, where he earned an MFA in the discipline.
In 2014 Guy earned the Linwood Dunn Student Heritage Award from The American Society of Cinematographers for his work on the short film Dirty Laundry.
Guy now works between the USA and the UK. He strives to keep his work free from an identifiable style, believing that the work of the Cinematographer should solely serve the emotion of each narrative.
